Intake Manifold Modification Service

We are now offering a service to modify your Renesis intake manifold for aviation use. You MUST supply the stock, four port, lower intake manifold from the automatic transmission engine. (A 6 port version is in the works but not yet available.)

This modification moves the torque and horsepower peaks closer to the optimum for aircraft use, as well as drastically lowering the profile of the manifold. The top of the modified intake will be approximately 3.5 inches higher than the top of the engine.

Send us ONLY your LOWER intake manifold (the aluminum part). The upper nylon portion of the manifold is used "as is" and you do not need to send it. (Please insure your package. We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for loss of incoming packages). Include a note INSIDE THE PACKAGE with your Name, Shipping address, email and PHONE NUMBER

Turn around time is approximately 4 - 6 weeks.

This is what the finished, modified manifold looks like installed on the engine. Note that this requires a SIDE MOUNT for the alternator, as the stock location is no longer available in this configuration. The stock "fly by wire" throttle body can be used and fly by wire controllers will soon be available from RWS.
