EC2 Front Panel Installation Cautionary Note

September 1, 2003: It was brought to Tracy's attention by a builder, that excess strain on the cable connecting the front panel to the EC2 could result in fatigue and failure of connections between the front panel board (PC board) and the mixture control potentiometer. Is this connection should fail, the fuel mixture could go to a condition that would result in power failure.

As with all avionic installations, it is EXTREMELY important when installing the EC2 to have proper strain relief all cables and connectors.
